Hired 8 new police officers and firefighters.
Secured property for new fire station 6, Station 3 Relocation and Opened Station 5.
Begun construction on new 90 million police headquarters on Main street.
Purchased two new fire engines and critical fire safety equipment.
Secured funding and hired 9 new firefighters.
99.6% of police calls responded to within 15 seconds.
All new developments pay ongoing Community facility fee for Police, Fire and Road maintenance.
Advocated with Congressman Harder for federal appropriations of $750,000 for a Real time crime center.

Creation of a Downtown Manteca Improvement Association
Moving forward on the Family Entertainment Zone (FEZ) providing more dining, lodging and shopping opportunities.
Expansion of health care and medical facilities (Sutter, Kaiser).
Infill Fee Reduction Program.
Created a Boarded and Vacant Ordinance for blighted properties.
Welcomed dozens of new large and small businesses to the community.
Provided over a million dollars in small business grants to support local businesses.
Manteca Animal Shelter upgraded to “no kill” designation
Updated development standards requiring all new development to follow the infrastructure initiative prior to building vertical.
New user and updates for BLD Ripken Experience
Advocated and received with Congressman Harder for federal funding of $850,000 to expand our Animal Shelter and provide for services such as low cost spay and neuter, TNR.
